Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul –Transfer to the hotel : Presentation & Orientation of the city on the road. First discovery of Istanbul according flight arrival. Evening & overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Discovery of Sultanahmet Neigbourhood and the Byzantin Legacy
Day complete dedicated to the discovery of historical heritage of the city, visit of Sultanahmet in the company of a professional guide. In the scope of the program, ancient residence of the Sultans – <<Topkapi Palace>>. Collections of Porcelaines Jewelleries).

Mosque/Church of Sainte Sophie, constructed in 6th Century –unique architecture and largest in the world, place of hippodrome. Discovery of the famous Blue Mosque. One of the most famous religious monuments in the world..

Day 3: Discovery of Golden Horn
Departing from traditional way, for the discovery of Phanar (Fener) neighbourhood and district of Eyup alongside of Golden Horn. Lets start from visiting St sauveur in Chorajewel of the site with its brightness and freshness of its interior decoration, mosaics and paintings.

Day 4: Istanbul – Tekirdag
We will first descend to Egyptian Market (Spice market) down to Eminonu. And you will see another marvellous mosque « Rûstem Pasa », signature piece of Sinan, who is with no doubt the greatest architecture of Ottoman Empire.

Day 5: Tekirdag – Philippi – Kavala – Thessaloniki
Today we drive to Philippi, where Paul was imprisoned. We visit the site of the prison where his jailer was converted, and the Roman Forum where Paul was arrested for his
Christian faith, and also the river where Lydia was baptised (possibly the first baptism in Europe) and the Orthodox Church dedicated to her. We shall then drive south to Kavala (Neapolis), the seaport where Paul landed in Macedonia.

Day 6: Thessaloniki – Veria – Meteora – Kalambaka
This morning we leave for Veria, where a shrine witnesses Paul’s visit. Here, Paul found the local Jews more amenable than those in Thessaloniki, and many of them became believers together with many Greek women of high standing and a number of the men.

Day 7: Kalambaka – Athens
When Paul arrived in Athens, whilst waiting for Silas and Timothy, he went to the synagogue where he debated with the Jews and the God-fearing. He also went to the market place (Agora) where he debated with anyone whom he met.

Day 8: Athens
We plan to begin the day with a visit to St. Dionysius Cathedral. We then drive to Mars Hill and then on to the Acropolis where we shall have a guided tour of the Parthenon and the other monuments. The Acropolis represents the apotheosis of artistic development in the 5th century BC, the Golden Age of Pericles.

Day 9:
Depature
